Moving software (usually called a moving CRM) runs the business side of a moving company: leads, estimates, scheduling, dispatch, crew apps, invoicing and payments. We compared nine products built for movers using their own websites, help centers and review listings as of October 26, 2026.
Disclosure: MoverPhone isn’t a CRM, and we don’t sell any of these products. We make a phone system for movers that integrates with several of them, so we looked closely at how each one handles calls.

The top picks, in more detail
SmartMoving: the most-reviewed all-in-one CRM
SmartMoving, based in Dallas and founded in 2018, says it’s trusted by more than 2,200 moving company operations. It covers the full workflow, from lead capture and estimates to dispatch, a crew app, payments and reporting, and it added an AI operations assistant called TOB-E in July 2026.
- Pricing: two plans, Smart Growth (3 office users and 3 crew licenses) and Smart Pro (10 office users and 50 crew licenses), on 12, 24 or 36-month contracts. SmartMoving doesn’t publish prices; review sites list Growth at $399 a month.
- Phones: call tracking and sales scripts are built in. Click-to-call works through RingCentral, and call recordings save to the opportunity only on RingCentral’s higher plans. Smart Scout, a paid add-on, answers inbound calls 24/7 and creates leads.
- Gaps: no power or parallel dialer is documented for calling lists or web leads, and a “centralized sales communication” feature on Smart Pro is marked as coming soon.
- API: strong for a moving CRM, with a free Lead API, a free read-only Open API (20,000 calls a month), and a $149-a-month Premium API with full write access and webhooks.

Supermove: AI-first for larger operations
Supermove, founded in 2019 and backed by Andreessen Horowitz, positions itself as an “AI-enabled operating system” for movers. It has office, crew, estimator and storage apps, payments, and an AI call center with voice agents, a sales copilot and an auto dialer.
- Pricing: not published. Supermove says its annual license is based on the number of crews.
- Phones: the most built-in calling of any moving CRM. The auto dialer calls several leads at once and passes answered calls to a rep or an AI voice agent. It works with Twilio, Dialpad and RingCentral.
- Gaps: there’s no full public API; data goes in through lead provider endpoints and out through automation webhooks. Reviews mention support response times and no native iOS crew app.

Elromco MoveBoard: published prices, month to month
Elromco’s MoveBoard is one of the few moving CRMs with prices on its website: $289 a month for Professional (3 office users) and $399 for Enterprise (unlimited office users), month to month, with up to 15% off for annual payment. Its AI receptionist, paid from a prepaid balance, can price moves from your own rate calculator and offer open arrival windows.
Chariot and Granot: predictable pricing
Chariot starts at $254 a month with unlimited users and SMS, billed quarterly or annually, and has a 5.0 rating across 64 Capterra reviews. Granot (HelloMoving) lists Standard at $325 and Enterprise at $495 a month, with legacy plans from $99.
MoverBase: free to start
MoverBase has a free plan for up to 10 jobs a month and paid plans from $29. It connects to Zapier and more than 15 lead providers, so it’s a good fit for owner-operators who want to start organized without a contract.
How to choose moving company software
- Match it to your size. One or two trucks don’t need enterprise dispatch. Five or more crews need scheduling, a crew app and reporting.
- Check the contract. SmartMoving uses 12 to 36-month terms; MoveBoard and MoverBase are month to month.
- Look at estimates and surveys. Virtual surveys, inventory tools and binding estimate support matter more for long-distance movers.
- Ask how leads get in. Your website form, lead vendors and phone calls should all create leads automatically, with the source recorded.
- Ask about phones. Find out whether the CRM answers calls, records them, dials out and logs outcomes, and what each of those costs extra.
- Check the API. If you’ll add other tools, make sure the CRM accepts leads and sends updates through an API or webhooks.
Where a phone system fits
Most moving CRMs are built around the job, not the phone. That leaves gaps that cost bookings:
- After-hours and peak-season calls. CallRail’s 2025 survey found 78% of consumers have gone elsewhere after not reaching a business by phone.
- Calling web leads back fast. Harvard Business Review found that companies responding within an hour were about seven times as likely to qualify a lead.
- Outbound volume. Calling old quotes and prospect lists by hand is slow.
MoverPhone adds those pieces to the CRM you already use: an AI receptionist that answers every call and books estimates, a parallel dialer that calls several leads at once, and prospect data for all 50 states. Calls, transcripts, leads and booked estimates sync to SmartMoving, Supermove, MoveBoard, Movegistics and HubSpot.
